About the Conclave
The Adapted Sports India Conclave 2026 brings parents of children with disabilities, athletes, coaches, administrators, designers and allies together in Hyderabad. Intentionally designed to not be a conference and deliberately intended to promote critical thinking skills, this event is the best space for young Indians to come together and learn about a side of India that is rarely discussed and understood by us.
Inaugural theme
Why Architecture · Accessibility?
The first edition sets the tone. If we built without inclusion, we are promoting exclusion!
Why is a disability sport conclave opening with architecture and accessibility? Because participation does not begin with a fixture, a coach or a medal. It begins much earlier — with whether a person can enter the building, reach the field of play, use the changing room, find their seat and move through the venue with dignity and independence.
The built environment is the layer beneath every other aspect of disability sport. It determines whether someone can get to the starting line at all.
